For the past decade, Roxana led general music, strings, and chorale music programs at Detroit Country Day Middle School - and previously, for 15 years in Farmington Public Schools, where she built engaging ensembles focused on:
● Healthy vocal technique and posture
● Musical excellence and confidence
● Teamwork and leadership
● Singing in multiple languages and styles
● Sharing the beauty of music with our Metro Detroit Community
Her students regularly perform in the community, sharing music at places like Corewell Health Hospital Moonbeams, Beaumont Children’s Hospital, and local retirement homes/senior centers. These experiences teach empathy, connection, and the joy of giving back. Her ensembles have partnered with local businesses like Taste Love Cupcakes, Yummy Cupcakes, and Bloomfield Bakeshop to raise thousands for the Children’s Miracle Network. Her singers have also made art gifts and cards given to senior residents and pediatric hospital patients to brighten their experiences.
Roxana is a wife and mother of 3 children - college, high school, and middle school students. She practices Pilates, yoga, and barre to support healthy posture continuously and is working toward her 200 HR RYT in yoga. She loves to travel, cook, indulge in delicious cuisines, and spend time with her family and mini-goldendoodle, Hugo.
